We live in a world of information and information overload. Facts and figures are at the tips of our fingers – but is this always a good thing? We work in the Hospitality industry and not the Bartending industry and while the white heat of mixology has forged some creative and knowledgeable bartenders are they all able bodied and fit for purpose? Sociable, Profitable and Hospitable? In this seminar I aim to discuss how bartenders must be managers of moods as well as masters of mixology, how a lot of knowledge can be a dangerous thing and how doing is better than knowing.
